The woman who puts Paris Hilton and her cronies to shame, Dawn French, the British comedienne insists she will die before she gets old. Although saying that she's fit and healthy she is certain she will not live much more than her impending 50 years old. The actress/comedienne who starred in such comedy shows as "The Vicar of Dibley" said when asked if her 50th birthday would be a landmark : "Definitely, because I've never thought I'd live to be very old. I've always felt that. So by 50 I want to be down there (Cornwall)." Adding that she wants to die, "slowly and nicely, in great surroundings, with my family. It is a bit shocking isn't it?" There's no family history of early death or sickness in her family, her grandmother being the age of 99 and her mother being a "pretty good" 74. But this hasn't stopped Dawn French having a premonition of her own early death. She said: "I don't feel gloomy about it. I'm resigned to it. I don't know why I feel so sure. I said it to my brother when I was about six." French said she was a logical person, but that even though there was "not much logic" in her belief, there were just "certain things" she was certain of.
