Yes and no, I think it definitely affects their fan base for sure but it's like they say, no press is bad press for a celeb people will continue buying tabloids with britney featured because she's a train wreck and people like to read about it, so maybe her fans don't like her anymore but she's certainly not making any less money.

yes! it gets really tiring hearing about celebs for no rhym or reason all the time....it takes away from their real talent or what their actually famous for...thats bound to affect their fan base as well!

Of course...imagine not being able to walk down the street without having your picture taken and sold to a magazine....

These celebs that have so many problems probably can't deal with the stress of it all so they either just plain lose their minds or do drugs or whatever to deal with it...

Amy didn't have these problems a few years ago, she looked happy and healthy....we all know Britney was at least a good performer a few years ago....all of a sudden their in the tabloids with either things they don't want people to know or just flat out lies and their lives turn to sh** and they can't walk down the street without being followed.

Fanbase...I dunno. Britney for sure, she hasn't put any music out and she's out of control and just plain crazy..but Amy's album skyrocketed because of all the attention and she just got a lot more drug money -- it works both ways I think.
